CHILL SMART

What is CHILL SMART?  Chill Smart is the youth group of the Hernando County Community Anti-Drug Coalition’s Youth Alcohol Abuse Prevention Initiative.

Who can join? Any Hernando County middle or high school aged student.

What do we do?  Learn about alcohol and other drugs. Plan safe and drug free activities for youth.  Advise the adults of the Coalition on issues related to underage drinking and how to stop it.

Why? You are the expert on being a kid in Hernando County.   Help us find out why and how kids get caught up in underage drinking as well as what could help kids stay drug-free.  The goal is for fewer kids to get involved with alcohol and other drugs.  Help us help you.

What’s in it for me?  Meet new friends - help plan fun activities - go on trips - learn how to be a leader - voice your ideas - win prizes - get the facts on alcohol and other drugs - make a difference in your community – take charge of your life.

Where and when do we meet?  The Harbor - 7074 Grove Road, Spring Hill, Fl 34609, the first and third Tuesday of every month from 6:30-7:30 pm.
